Dear partners, customers, and suppliers,
Two years ago, following the sudden death of Jean-Jacques Graffin, the Board of Directors of Serac Holding proposed the appointment of a two-man management team to head the Serac Group. For obvious reasons of stability, and to guarantee the best continuity of service and relationships that our employees, customers and suppliers had the right to expect from us, we called on experienced people who knew Serac inside out.
We therefore proposed to Mr Thierry ADAM, the Group’s Administrative and Financial Director at the time, and Mr Philippe FARRUGIA, Managing Director of Serac SAS, to take on the two-headed general management of the Group, each in his own field of competence. Mr. Philippe FARRUGIA, who had already planned to leave his salaried position at the end of 2023, has accepted the position for a period of two years.
We have now reached the end of the two-year period that Mr Philippe Farrugia had given himself to accompany Serac.
Mr. Philippe Farrugia is therefore stepping down, as planned, from the Group’s general management, after having prepared and organized his exit over the past two years.
I would like to express my deep gratitude to him for the work he has accomplished within Serac and the consolidation of our organization that he and his teams have successfully implemented.
Over the past three years, he has given our company the benefit of his extensive expertise in the packaging industry.
His tenure has been characterized by a visionary approach to the dosing and packaging market, leaving a lasting impact on the organization.
I can assure you that the Group is stronger, better structured, and better equipped today than it was two years ago.
Many of our objectives have been achieved under the leadership of Philippe and Thierry Adam. We pursued our various transformation projects, accelerated the development of our activities in Asia and the United States, set up a subsidiary in Mexico, strengthened our activities in India and gradually refocused on development projects. Philippe and Thierry have also pushed ahead with the acquisition of Doselec, which we have integrated into the Group in recent months, creating the market-leading Cup division.
Over the past 2 years, Philippe and Thierry have stabilized the organization, reassured the teams, and ensured excellent communication with the Board of Directors of Serac Holding. They have also helped to change the group’s image and lay the foundations for effective collaboration between the various subsidiaries.
To guarantee our employees, customers, partners, and suppliers the assurance of continuity in our governance, the Board of Directors has taken the strategic decision to entrust new functions to the following people:
Mr Thierry ADAM will assume full responsibility for General Management and will focus on implementing the strategic plan approved by the Board of Directors. His in-depth knowledge of the Serac Group, combined with his wealth of experience and leadership skills, will undoubtedly continue to guide the Serac Group towards new challenges.
Mr Vincent RULLEAU, with his experience as Administrative and Financial Director of Serac SAS, has been appointed Administrative and Financial Director of Serac group. His expertise in financial matters will play a crucial role in the financial success of our organization.
These appointments testify to the commitment of the Board of Directors of Serac Holding to encourage a strong and talented team to maintain the momentum we have today, resolutely focused on the future. These changes are designed to strengthen the Serac Group and are part of our ongoing efforts to ensure the continuation of our shared achievements.
